The story behind the steel
Innovation that started on the rooftop.
Before RARE Manufacturing became a recognized metal roofing manufacturer, it began with two experienced roofers—brothers Ron and Randy—who believed the industry could build a better system.
Their hands-on installation experience shaped a panel designed to answer real jobsite challenges. After developing, testing and successfully installing the system, they founded RARE Manufacturing in 1993. That practical, installer-informed approach still defines the company today.
